Criminal Investigations

The Criminal Investigations Division is tasked with reviewing all police reports and investigations of crimes within the City of Urbana. The division comprises one administrative assistant, one digital forensics examiner, six detectives, two Street Crimes Task Force detectives, one detective sergeant, and one lieutenant. They are responsible for overseeing or personally conducting investigations into all serial and violent crimes that occur in the City of Urbana.
