Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held regarding the proposed suspension of the liquor license held by VIDHI 3 LLC d/b/a Wyndham Garden Hotel, located at 1001 West Killarney Street, Urbana, Illinois 61801. The hearing will take place on March 10, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. in the City of Urbana Council Chambers, 400 South Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois 61801.

The City of Urbana is seeking suspension of the Class H (Hotel) Liquor License issued to VIDHI 3 LLC d/b/a Wyndham Garden Hotel pursuant to Section 3-60(a) of the Urbana City Code. The basis for the proposed suspension includes the following alleged violations of the Urbana City Code:
- Failure to file signed, sworn original tax returns as required by Section 22-63 for the months of May and December 2025, and January 2026.
- Failure to pay the tax required by Section 22-61 for the months of May and September through December 2025, and January 2026.
- Failure to timely pay the tax required by Section 22-61, as required by Section 22-63, for the months of February through March, May, June, and September through December 2025, and January 2026.
The City is also seeking suspension based on information indicating that VIDHI 3 LLC was involuntarily dissolved by the Illinois Secretary of State effective September 2024. At the time of dissolution and thereafter, VIDHI 3 LLC remained in possession of a City of Urbana liquor license originally issued on July 1, 2024, and renewed on July 1, 2025.
Because the licensee was not a valid legal entity at the time of issuance and renewal, the liquor license application and renewal contained materially inaccurate information, and the licensee was not eligible to hold a liquor license pursuant to Section 3-45(a) of the Urbana City Code.
