The Foreign Fire Tax Board consists of seven trustees, which includes the Fire Chief by virtue of rank plus six members elected at large by the sworn members of the Fire Department.
The Foreign Fire Tax Board shall make rules and regulations for managing money appropriated to the board. Department officers shall develop and maintain a listing of those items that the board has determined are appropriate expenditures.
The board meets quarterly.
