The Area-Wide Records Management System (ARMS) Policy Board oversees the ARMS program, as prescribed by the inter-governmental ARMS Agreement. ARMS is a software program used to electronically manage police records.
The five member jurisdictions each have a seat on the board and are the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office, Champaign Police Department, Rantoul Police Department, University of Illinois Police Department, and Urbana Police Department. The Chief of Police, County Sheriff, or their delegate serves as the representative for each jurisdiction.
The ARMS Policy Board meets quarterly on the third Thursday of February, May, August, and November. Special meetings may be scheduled as required.
